From net food importer, Russia has moved to the position of the leading world agro-industrial power, as the country consistently for the past 10 years demonstrates the status of a world net exporter of products of the Russian agri-food sector, and its annual volume is close to $50 billion. Russia is the world’s largest exporter of mineral fertilizers, according to experts' estimates, at the moment 1.5 billion people on the planet consume food grown with the use of Russian fertilizers that do not contain concentrations of toxic substances.
